McAfee Stinger finds and eliminates frequent Bogus Aware viruses and risks recognized in the "List Viruses" area of the Stinger application. While not a replace full fledged anti-virus software, Stinger is modified many times a week to include recognition for more recent Bogus Aware versions and frequent viruses. Improved detections are those that have been customized for this launch. Detections are enhanced to cover new versions, improve performance, and correct wrong identifications.
